we did lots of fun things on my birthday to celebrate, but the cakes were most important part.
1. cheese cake that cody made. yes, it was delicious
2. spice pumpkin cake that my mother-in-law made, which i don't have a photo of, but i had to mention it because it was so yummy.
3. and...... my all-time favorite: Chocolate Pineapple Rum Cake from Leslie's Bakery. it's divine. i'm already looking forward to eating another piece tomorrow, and the next day and the next day and the next day.
when you are as old as i am you have to take a really deep breath to be able to blow out all the candles on the cake.
