june in november

we've been playing in leaves a lot lately. june's never experienced fall before and is loving it. (to say i'm loving it too is an understatement, it's the season i missed the most). she asks to go outside probably 10 times a day. even in the cold? you may ask... yes, especially in the cold, she can't get enough of the snow. i thought that since she's never really lived in cold weather she might have a hard time adjusting, nope.
a few things i'm loving about her right now..
  • she'll be right in the middle of something and totally stop, get up and decide it's time to brush her teeth "all-by-my-self"
  • at night she sneaks out of bed and gets a book (usually the same one) to have in bed with her as she sleeps
  • as each one of her goldfish dies, she'll see it floating on its side at the bottom (or top), tap on the glass, then look at me with a hugh smile and whisper "mommy, shhhhhhh he's sleeping"
  • she always refers to cody as "my daddy" not just daddy
  • she always wants me to kiss her lambie and her teddy bear good night too
  • she loves to talk about and is so proud of her potty but has yet to even sit on it

That last pic of June is adorable! She is growing up so much. You will have to let me know how the potty training is going. To me, it was the WORST phase of all baby phases--LOL...

every season (and everyone) in utah missed you. so glad you're here. and especially glad that june and max are getting to know their aunt Holly. it melts my heart when June says my name and wants to show me something. one of my favorite things about her right now is when she looks at my tummy and says hi to "baby" and gives my tummy a hug. Can i have her??
