this is june's favorite place to watch the chickens. she wakes up from her naps saying 'chic, chic' or 'cock-a-do' (she has a hard time getting the doodle in), with her finger pointing to the window waiting for me to open the blinds. i love all the windows in her room, and i love that she gets to see (and hear) wild chickens whenever her little heart desires. it's probably the closest we'll ever get to living on a farm... so we may as well pretend that's where we are. ps.. notice how cute her long skinny legs are. i love them.

Little June is cute. I love little kids faces when they wake up from naps (they have that sleepy, squishy look to them). So cute. But I give you a week back in the mainland and you will sooo be over your chickens:)
i hope you have a big frame to put those pics in on your wall. i'm trying to find a place to put them on mine.
needless to say, i adore (and slightly covet) them.
